Rebranding inclusivo del Comitato Olimpico Internazionale
Il 20 luglio del 2021 il Comitato Olimpico Internazionale decide di aggiungere al celeberrimo motto delle olimpiadi, “Citius, Altius, Fortius” (Più veloce, più in alto, più forte), la parola Communiter (Insieme), schierandosi dalla parte dei diritti civili in termini di inclusione e solidarietà. Partendo dall’impulso di voler applicare le direttive del CIO al brand delle olimpiadi, ci siamo chiesti quanto effettivamente il logo dei cinque cerchi rappresenti il nuovo motto e tutta la comunità globale. Surclassando così la definizione canonica e datata di “continente”, il nostro approccio è stato quello di rappresentare una comunità globale con un unico cerchio con composto dalla fusione dei colori (i popoli) e aperto all’inclusività.
